Losiu Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 I've already mentioned it here somewhere. This is Polish product (no matter what language you view their website in), I have 50km to their headquarters and I always pick up fairings personally Quote
Joseph Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 Doesn't look any thinner than Airtech or Ragged edge products, does indeed look precise in moulding details though How good is the headlight captive nut fixing ? Quote
Dezza Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 One major factor missing from the review - does it fit the bike as intended? Ragged Edge Racing stuff is GRP and very lightweight. Quote
TJS Posted November 30, 2022 Author Posted November 30, 2022 Seems to hold headlight just as well as oem. I hope to use this on a back up bike soon.....depends how much garage time "moma" will let me have! 1 Quote

Fiberglas (American spelling and only one 's') was the patent and trade name for the first company producing it. The name stuck like 'Hoover' for a vacuum cleaner. The first Carbon Fibre (UK spelling) patent was taken out by the MOD who didn't really give a shit about marketing so didn't give it a catchy name. I guess we're probably lucky it's not called "Fibres. Carbon. Thousands. For the purpose of laying up to form sheets material." Quote
TJS Posted December 1, 2022 Author Posted December 1, 2022 https://a.co/d/ioaAVui It's all in where you are from. ie How do you say "Aluminum"? Quote
Joseph Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Indeed, but as usual, a lack of common sense Glass fibre is a fabric done with fibres made of glassg So glass fibre is the logical term because it is indeed made with hot stretched to the max strands of glass that create fibres that are then chopped up glass and carbon are used as adjectives, hence carbon fibre, because it describes what the fibres are made of. Thats also why you don't say fibre carbon. a fibre glass if sense is used, describes a glass and the product it is designed to contain (like beer glass, wine glass etc) 1 Quote
