I’m using cardboard

6 mm plastic sheet

then 10 mm ally

6mm plastic sheet ?! Hark at you with your fancy modern materials. 

I thought a nice bit of marine ply would be right up your street. Quick coat of ship varnish and you can hang it up for future use.

Did you have anything to do with this, RR Spey wooden model we had at work for disposal

Seen a few people mentioning it whe JB had it on various OSS show standards.

It’s really cool little detail. If the rearset dictates the master cylinder needs to be horizontal there’s not much of a cooler way to mount it.

I’m going to reuse it later, but as I have only 3 weeks until Anglesey I just need some pegs in a place that is slightly comfortable. So the pegs I have will do for now..

Mmmmmmm not sure about this at all

yes but the bracket bolted to a bracket and the lever in the wrong place it just looks untidy??????????????

Moved the lever around a bit and tried the pegs for position 

very comfy but still looks untidy

Now that you’ve worked out the position of it all I think you need to bite the bullet and get your hacksaw out and remake this piece (rearset/hanger), but with your new correct ergonomicly positioned peg.
