dumbass of the day award (it was a week or two ago) 

 

I had it in my head that SV650 clutch covers and TL1000 clutch covers were the same, fuck knows where I got that notion, but they aint :L

so I now have this.... just waiting on filler hole

glued together the bit of header that bolts to the head , shop bought bends weren,t going to cut it 

 

 

tight fit, but it fits 

 

 

 

 

i did a bit more to the other pipe, but made a cunt of it and chopped it off

plenty better welding guys out there, but i,m reasonably pleased with myself. 

still needs two springs to hold these parts together, but they ordered 

 

front header still needs some work :D

not the best welding weekend... mask has decided that it wont always stay auto darkened when welding stainless tube with no filler, had to settle for just tacking the rest before I destroyed the full job . Works fine for Ally, but the gas run out ...too fast, hooked up a new bottle....hisssssssssss.... think regulators cracked

 

on the upside, both headers in one piece, and the collector started 

and the ally water pipe started
