  1. I havent really googled it to check how people use the word in a sentence. Thats just what I thought I knew. I reckon he's probably right and I stand corrected. But I still dont know what a teapot is though. I drink my tea brewed in a giant tank somewhere in atlanta georgia from the coca cola company. Probably loaded with dodgy preservatives and tap water. Like a civilized human being.
  2. right anyway the cs-901 is the suzuki standard I believe. But these do also work. http://www.Eblag.com/itm/RAMAIR-PERFORMANCE-AIR-FILTERS-MS-017-YAMAHA-YZF750-FCR41-FITMENT-NEW-/350638602477 I went with those for a tighter stretch fit around the stacks. But the larger outer dimensions mean they look funny stuffed into the frame and my knees are slowly rubbing through them. So I deduced the previosly posted 901 probably fits and stays on there just fine and are a slimmer profile for fitting into the bike.
  3. O I C. Ive always heard of the shiny little individuals as pods. And duals are just duals. Also thats cute. You mean god like as in allah right?
  4. Pods are individuals. He's tongue tied. He means duals... http://www.Eblag.com/itm/2-x-RAMAIR-Carb-Air-Filters-Twin-Velocity-Stack-Weber-DCOE-Dellorto-DHLA-CS-901-/352093780810?epid=656779917&hash=item51fa6cbb4a:g:FF0AAOSwA4dWMMEG&vxp=mtr those.. cs 901
  5. Where to buy the special power jet that is blanked off in US and UK please (In US). I wanna experiment with them. I know the factory pro blog says they're mostly only useful with the gsxr 750m with it's stock airbox... HOWEVER when you order from factory pro the bst38ss kit for gsxr 1100 (crb-s21 kit)... It comes with a pamphlet showing some recommended settings from various dyno shops across the US. Some of the setups show slightly smaller main jets like 140 something sizes along with those power jets in use. Anyway I might like to try them. If anybody can find me those special little powerjets for sale to US I would appreciate. There's 2 or 3 different sizes you can get If I remember correctly. Maybe more.
  6. I think the pink is rad. Might be my favorite slingshot of all. but there was also these colors 92.
  7. Here in US there was A 1992 750N. Lets call it a first half 1992. It is in fact a 1992 N model designation. And there are also 1992 registered water cooled 750s. It's about 50/50 here when you find a 92 750 for sale. I would love to find the slingshot version in nice shape.
  8. https://youngstown.craigslist.org/mcy/6183632564.html Nice. So I can throw an offer on this (or just buy it "firm") and still have the whole rest of the bike to part out. Rather than spend 300 bucks on 2 small probably sintered shit quality metal gears (which work just fine though and are probably still ok in the donor bike.) Just saying. At that price why dont I just keep an eye peeled for a parts bike.
  9. Put a dot head and bst38ss carbs on that bad boy. Join the heap of folks on here preparing to go that route.
  10. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=1989+teapot&qpvt=1989+teapot&qpvt=1989+teapot&qpvt=1989+teapot&FORM=IGRE
  11. No confusion. Suzuki clearly put big bold letters on the side of all of them.
  12. This thread is overflowing with male insecurity.
  13. What year gs750? Any gs750? In case I could just find a whole bike or motor cheaper. I'm sure those particular gears would be just fine.
  14. yea yea I figured kitana was slightly feminized. Like princess kitana. I now fully understand. No variation of the word is permitted. Unless referring to the original target design katana. Nobody in the us says the word teapot when referring to anything. It really sounds more like a british thing. I'll just stick with kitten I guess. or gsxf600 or whatever. Anyway I found the front rotors on local ads. Nice fella down the road 20 minutes. Says theyre not scored up or anything. I offered 50 bucks he said that would be plenty and perhaps even take less. Just waiting on the machine shop with the new sleeve and spacers and then just figure out how thick of washers I need to get the calipers centered to the rotors.
  15. Machine shop is making bits for the front wheel while I hunt down rotors. I already have donor bandit and slingshot calipers aplenty. Also got the mitsubishi alternator bearings https://www.amazon.com/100-Premium-Quality-Bearing-15X47X14/dp/B0189P6YOI/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1498938889&sr=8-9&keywords=15x47x14+bearing nice sealed set ready to go. Came in the mail the other day.
  16. All this is making me want to just build my 1052 motor instead... ported dot head. Slightly shorter stroke. slightly higher revving.
  17. I bought that efe. now I need something else to eat up some more of this money I got. https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/mcy/6194244003.html these any good? Sorry I meant to put this in general. I was just thinking 2 strokes. It was late...
  18. Is that a 750 fairing? Ok I see now. Thats not the same as a katana. Although very similar and released in the same years...
  19. He means it's really nice. 5 out of 5 but he gave it a 6.
  20. shit there they are at the bottom... I'm and idiot.
