  1. Does it have to be floating rotors from an 89-96 kitten 600? or can I also use the solid ones from and 88? http://www.Eblag.com/itm/88-Suzuki-Katana-GSX-600-F-Pair-of-Good-Front-Brake-Rotors-4-36mm-FastFreeShip-/291579877780?hash=item43e383d994:g:I0EAAOxykmZTKd4Y&vxp=mtr Shit I see now. The bolts are wrong. Ok So it's only floating rotors from 89 and up kitana 600 only that will work. 88 is excluded.
  2. Thats funny. Only UK websites can I find the barnett diaphragm springs for bandit. Eblag.com or any other US based site. Nowhere to be found... Thanks for helping me clear that up fellas. Now to find a UK company that will ship these to US I suppose...
  3. Well first things first. I have both front wheels off and bearings out. Gonna order some kitana front rotors and going to the machine shop and bearing shop on monday.
  4. I challenge you. Link me to a set of barnett clutch springs for a bandit 1200. Please.
  5. People say use barnett springs with oem fibers. Where can I buy just barnett springs without the whole barnett all in one kit.
  6. Would anybody mind taking measurements of their custom spacers and rear brake hanger to get a slingshot wheel centered?
  7. Wish there was a way to keep stock rotors. I like the way they look.
  8. So like I said earlier it could be a matter of chain length and sprockets and where exactly the chain adjusters end up. For some people to have to do that and some people saying apparently did not. Looks like I would have to just get started and see.
  9. ok so i'm going to assume thats a slingshot rear wheel... And instead of have the sprocket carrier machined down you just put shorter bolts in. And half nuts as you said... And then just brought the front sprocket out that much further.
  10. Ok so... that red wheel is in fact not a hayabusa wheel at all you're saying?
  11. probably a dumb question but is it hard on the output shaft moving the front sprocket out that much?
  12. so a hayabusa wheel witha 180 fits fine but these guys have trouble fitting a 5.5 wheel with a 180? I see the twisted spoke is the 2nd gen hayabusa wheel... so thats what I assume I should go with.
  13. But if it wasn't extended it probably would not fit. I see now. I'm not a stretch kinda guy. If it's another swingarm off another bike and it happens to be an inch or 2 longer thats fine but stretching is not my thing. Maybe if I have a chain sprocket combo that extends the adjusters just a few cms.
  14. Or if somebody knows where I could get one of them cool aftermarket swingarms for an efe...
  15. Just the spacers thats it? did you have to alter sprocket spacing? Shit why doesn't I just do that then. that can't be it. C'mon now tell me what was involved. please.
  16. I covered The 2 headers with heavy duty tin foil and also some in that upper area. So At least im not scraping dirt and rust onto the filter when I shove it in there.
  17. I'm talking about 18 in the rear but keep stock 16 in the front. Wondering are there any other set of tires in both. aside from bt45
  18. Also It needed another minute for the fresh oil to get circulating. it was even quieter yet the next time I fired it up. The oil that came out of this thing was old. I didn't find anything bad coming out with it. but it was black and burnt smelling... Fresh oil and filter. I havent even ridden the bike since I changed it. Just fired the bike up a few times . And the brand new oil is black again already. That oil filter is a royal bitch btw.
  19. Nah im out in the country. Loud is acceptible.
  20. ya that just kinda sounds like a suzuki to me. I just think it needs louder.
  21. o i c. thats it then. Nothing sporty in both those sizes.
