GSXF's look kind of like a giant blob of snot. just my opinion.
I think some of the OSS people who have done some nice sleepers with the gsxf may disagree with you on that one and some may not

Welcome to OSS
Nice to see someone else who likes shaft drive GS
When you say inverted forks I presume you mean up side down (USD) fork.
Basically the GS g can have the same swaps as the chain drive GS and the list can be long from the slingshot gsxr to the latter gsxr1000, the main thing is how much ground clearance do you want. As @vizman says have a good look at the project section for some good info and what you like the look of.
One down side with a shafty is the rear end, putting a newer front end on with better rubber will leave the rear lacking in a equal rubber that could give you a interesting time in the bends. But there ways round this
And as said above, RTFR one thing that will get you in trouble is calling a gsxf a katana

As @vizman says they fit the 1127 with a bit of tweaking but you may find they hang a bit low on a 750
-
So, looking ahead for next project. Carbs.
What's the difference between the gsx750f carbs and the gsxr/b12 carbs all the above have 36mm carbs but and here's the question?
Why are the gsx750f carbs smaller in height?
Left set gsx750f right set gsxr both 36mm.
Would the gsxf carbs work on a b12 or gsxr motor ?
-
Oil/replace cable or maybe carbs.
-
I no one replys before I will have a look in the book tomorrow (it's in the garage at the mo) but if the tick over goes up and down could be needing a balance of the carbs

So did you ever find out the answer?
Bloody hell, that was a bit back
What I found is the gs750 same gearing but straight cut gears, the gsx750et has the smaller 1st and 2nd gear with the 3-4 and 5 the same but if I remember you have to swap the shafts.
-
I believe, the front 750k and b12 will fit.
Don't know about the rear.
-
Whichever front end you put in you will need to do something for lock stops, but that Could be done on the bottom yoke.
Best thing to do with bearings, go to a bearing supplier with the size of the kawk bearings and the size of the suzi bearings and have a look in there list try www.allballsracing.com they have a online chart.

I think Grumpy 1260 dose them (he is on flebay)
Or check out the traders section mite be someone in there.

Ends black and center part silver
-
Barrels yes and sort of like the cam cover
I'd also do the sump and geny, just to make the point
-
Instead of spending lot of bike money on a press just make one a good hydraulic car Jack and make a frame out of some box steel
-
I put a post in oil cooled about the same thing and @Captn came up with some very good tests
In oil cooled called, testing CDI and pick ups date 10th April.

I think the only difference in the starter motors is the rear/front casing as some models have the fixing bolt holes in a different place.
If you go to the Alpha sports web site and compare the part numbers.

Welcome to OSS
As above you can swap stems, but you will need to do something with lock stops.
Now you're here we like pics of projects and Suzuki bikes
-
With the foot peg hangers I'd say a gs550e
-
As I'm getting closer the finishing the ET project I'm starting to look/think about the next one in line
A gs550 with a b6 motor in it. I already have a set of 750 barrels and pistons to go on the bottom end.
I was thinking which is the best head? Should I stick with the b6 head or should I be looking for something else?
Not looking at making this a big spend project, just something cheep and a bit of fun.
Thanks.

Like @no class says each bike can be different depending on what zorst, carbs and sprocket size your using.
If you're making your own brackets you could use the front and lower brackets list in these pages as a starting point. Check the fit of the bits you're using and take it from there
I've done two bikes using the brackets on here, the first was my kat and had to alter the brackets as for the zorst. The second one is the ET project I'm doing at the moment, the brackets on here work a treat and did not have to alter them, apart for my own preferred look.
Have fun and don't forget the do a project bit
-
All depends on how much work you want to do, using a kat frame @Fazz711 said is the vast and easy way but ET frames can be used with mods on brackets, or if you really want to go for it, I sore a very nicely done gsxr with full kat body work on it at one of the OSS party's in Derbyshire.

If they are the standard carbs for the standard engine they most probably just need a clean.
-
Pilot jets set wrong or need cleaning

The Haynes manual for the gsxr slingshot covers the gsx1100f
Inverted front ends
