Ordered a 19 row 330x50 an8 cooler

I know this has came up before, but I can't find it.
After market oil coolers, full width (330mm) I've always used a 19 row (an8) but seen post where people have/are using 16 row.
So for street use is a 16 row good or should I stick with a 19 row?
Sorry if this boring for some of you

That's some pipe work on that bike but good first go, must say I would not even know where to start with a turbo

RF600 and SV650 I believe will fit the b6 MK1 wheel
You just need to check the part numbers to make sure

The gsx400f was the 4 cylinder engine wasn't it?
Don't always go just what model of bike for ordering filters (aftermarket) get the OD of the air intake side of the carbs and order pod or cone filters from there.
-
+1 with @Fazz711
yes there is a big difference between different air filters, if you want filters go for K&N reject the carbs to suit the air filters and zorst, that's is there is nothing wrong else where with the bike.
Some of the cheep air filters are cheep for a reason.

As it's only when you're riding it, I'd say it's nothing complicated than a worn old taco, my kat one has been doing it for years, reads fine till I go over a bump then it jumps about then settles down.
But on the UK roads that's not for long, as the UK could not lay a smooth good road it there life depended on it are road mender's think you put some tarmac on a road hit it with a spad one and that's a good job hit it twice that's a great job rant over, I will now get my coat

Don't know the best place for parts other where you are, that's more a question you need to ask on GSrecorse site

The vacuum taps work very well on most bikes, the only time people have problems with them is when the rubber ring/spring/diaphragm gets worn and they start leaking. on/off taps can do the same when they get worn.

Welcome to OSS,
As @Captain Chaos say pop over to general and introduce yourself, put some pics up of your project
Slide hammer, that's for car panels use the right puller and it will just pop off, if you're meaning the starter clutch (lh side of engine on end of crank)
Only use OEM clutch plates, do not use ebc they are shit.
To remove clutch, take side cover off, remove bolts holding springs out, remove pressure plate, remove clutch plates, bend back tab on lock washer in center of hub use clutch holding tool to hold clutch undo nut in center of hub, remove hub, remove center spacer use 2x M6 bolts in holes, remove bearing, remove clutch basket

I think there is a size (diameter) difference between the 630 and 530, but the 530 and 520 are the same diameter.
I only reason I say the 630/530 are different is because someone had put a pick up on here somewhere of a 630 and 530 next to each other.

There are two different slave cylinders, the slabside use a 38mm pistion the slingshot/bandit use a 32mm look the same from the outside
-
Z1000j carb rubbers these will let you put 34mm cv. You just need to elongate the bolt holes a little bit.
I had them on a old slid carb head had a set of 1000 kat slide carbs fitted with them, then put a set of CR35 on.

Nice job,
looks really well. Was not keen on the S fairing but it actually looks really good

Ah, the good old days when you could spend hour's rummaging around and then forget what you went there for to start with.
Unfortunately the last bike breakers around by me where you could do this closed several years ago
+1 on that, the last good one I new was Cheshire Salvage, but they then went Eblag based and would not sell anything over the counter

That would be good, beer token's would be sent
Don't understand this bit ???. I haven't mentioned a gs500, are you saying there is a standard gs500 swop for what I am trying to do ??.
A lot of people have used the gs500 sprocket carrier on gsxr wheels to get the sprocket nearer the wheel, but there was a thread a while ago saying the gs500 carrier dose not fit the b12 wheel.
-
Think I mite have a clutch slave cylinder somewhere, I will have a look when I get in the garage.
Heard someone on here using a GS sprocket carrier with b12 wheel now you say something about a different cush drive than the standard gs500 swap.

Is it a kwak

Anything will fit anything, all depends on how much you want to do. If you just want a straight bolt on part get OEM.
