Had that type in some of my bikes, and for being cheep they work very well

The second set of carbs that run ok but leak even with new seals and float height set. If they still leak it most probably be float needle's that are worn and not sealing or just a spec of dirt in there, doesn't take much.

Think someone on here used a GS (2v) on a b6 wheel

If it's the gsxr1100 ghj rear you have?
Should have a jt830 rear sprocket so same as bandit 600/400 etc etc
Have a look on JT sprockets site, it's a good site to compare sprocket types.

If you can use a gsx1100f sprocket carrier, you can get off the shelf 52T rear sprockets

The efe had a better flowing head than the ET

Mite not be of use, but have you looked at getting a gsxr750wr wn etc swing arm?
Just that it fits slingshot and comes with a brace as standard that's looks similar to the ones in the pics (above posts) with braces welded on. Would seem easy way do get a brace swing arm instead of getting 2 swing arms and cutting one up and then the hassle of jiging it up and welding it.

Coming on nicely

Got some off that site, nice and cheep
so will see how they go/look and will put pics up on the project thread.
Mite work ok, as looking at putting some of them crash mushroom things on and could make a bracket off these engine bar things
I will keep the project thread updated so you all can see what you can do will a gsx1100f (the whale)

Yes, the ones that rap round the cylinders I will keep my eye open for some.
Don't worry, @TonyGee
you're not the only Dyslexic here that's why some of my post don't make sense

Yes you can but you will need the pickups and possibly the cdi form that loom
And if a bandit loom you will need the ignition switch and that's before you get into if it's a MK1 loom or MK2 .
Gsxf would be the easiest one same pickup etc just more wires for the power screen bit.

You'd be wise to keep them on
Go on then, why?

Lol takes more than that to bother me
I just like doing something people don't and make them look twice
Looking at my gsx1100f I don't think many people will know what it is and that's what I've always liked but not had a bike like that for some years.

You would think so
But you'd like think there was a resin Mr Suzuki put these on the gsx1100f ?
Seen some listings calling them engine mounts/brace/guards ?
-
Ok,
Doing the gsx1100f project and on the standard bike it has a bolt on brace that goes around the sides of engine form front to rear. Is it worth getting these and putting them on?
Just thinking as the gsxr's slabside and slingshot have a similar frame design/set-up, as in a rap round main frame and bolt on front part but they do not have these bolt on side bits.
So what do you lot think?

These a nice cheep gsx1100efe with carbs on that site
Going cheep at £800
Just seen it nothing to do with me

Was it doing it before you removed and striped them?

Hi.
I have a gsxr 1100r 91. Can I fit a b1200 camhead mk1, and use the gsxr cam from a 90 (and earlier on) ?
Is there hp loss in using a 1200 head?
Always nice to introduce yourself in the general section before jumping in and asking questions

We can't help that it's got the wrong head, can we!
Just put a 4v head on the GS 2v barrels/bottom end, I'm sure you could get some of the cylinder studs to go in the holes or grind the 4v pistions down where the valves cut outs are so the 2v valves don't meat the pistons
DOT heads - variation among models?

Add a bit
I found when I first started building the gsx1157et (b12 motor) that the tank stat in the right place with the standard b12 head but when I fitted the gsxf dot head the carb top where just hitting the tank by APX 5-10mm ish (didn't Messer it) also I was using gsxr750 38mm carbs and rubbers, don't know if that makes a difference.
Ps, FBB maybe the man to ask as he's done one or two head jobs
