  1. You only need a ‘Mad Max’ now! Looks great!
  2. Hello. You’ll need 50 posts, then you can state your needs in the ‘Wanted’ section.
  3. Nah! My first bike was a Spragthorpe Wappet!
  4. Don’t over lubricate the cable! Too much, and it’ll work it’s way up the cable and into the head. New instrument then required!
  5. Nice find, Will. Lovely looking bike! What’s your plans for it, modified or keep ‘as is’?
  6. Any company that does hard chroming will give you a far better, thicker finish than std. or aftermarket stanchions. Also try HCPAG. They do a good job too!
  7. Best pop over to 'General' and say hello! Welcome to the club too!
  8. Nice to see you again, Howard!
  9. Strip it down. If you ride it, and it locks up ... you're down the road on your arse! And it's too nice a bike to bin!
  10. Can’t remember who was asking but, he was bringing a 750 Slabbie out of long term storage. Had problems with wiring harness fouling the petrol tap. Maybe this will help?
  11. Morning Buddy. Sizes, top & bottom are; 45 x 10 x 1.25mm. Measurements taken from under the head.
  12. No reason it shouldn’t go on for years. If everything checks out ok now ... just look after it!
  13. Try Awesome Graphics. Contact grantappleby@btconnect.com Or. The Imageworks. 0115 9443111. Ask for Graham. Check his website out!
  14. You'll pay a hefty price for an original! I had one lined up, price agreed ... gazumped! Kevin Carpenter will have one, if only the real thing will do. But it won't be cheap!
  15. You've answered your own question. Partly! The fact the Bandit disc is on the 750 hub proves PCD is the same. Offset might be your problem.
  16. Cast wheels, triple discs denote 750EC.
  17. As Reinhoud says, 'Look at your head'. Fit your studs into the case where your think they should go. Fit head & barrels, and see how much thread shows through the head. you need a nut snugged down, showing maybe 2-3 threads. Allow for gaskets. Swap round until it's right!
  18. As FBOAB says, some early stems are welded into the yoke. As the B6 has been around since '96, and yours is 2k, you should be able to press it out. Assuming it is still the original 2000 yoke!
  19. Chances are he'll PM you, after seeing your post!
  20. I think they're on another 'puter, which is suffering from 'The Blue Screen of Death!' If I get it running, I'll post them up. Meanwhile, why don't you check @fibermanout in the Traders section!
