  1. Devilmans right! So ... loosen the bleed nipple. Clean, lubricate the piston with fresh fluid, and re-insert the piston. Push it right back. You could, to minimise mess, put a bleed pipe on the nipple, other end into a jar, to catch the fluid you're going to displace when doing this. Fit the cover again, then bleed up the system. And welcome to OSS.
  2. Google AllBalls product no’s. The sites that come up will give you bearing sizes. Then go to your local supplier. I’ve found Kent Bearings 01634 720444 useful.
  3. Introduce yourself in ‘General’ first, before jumping in with both feet! Goes a long way! Pictures of your project very welcome too! Why the strip-down? Maintenance, tuning … Turbo even??? Future plans for it, ect. I’ll PM you a link for the manual later. Oh, and welcome to OSS, by the way!
  4. I’ll have a look. If it’s there, you can have it!
  5. Good luck with it then. If it’s going to be anything like your last builds, it’ll turn out great!
  6. Robinsons Foundary. Michael/Michelle. Right in your neck of the woods.
  7. Thought that might be the case. The 1100 cam wheels might also take up camchain slack that I may not have! Thanks for the advice!
  8. When using 1100 cams in a 1000 motor, do I use the 1000 camwheels on the 1100 cams, or use 1100 cams with their original camwheels? I ask, as 1000 wheels are 30T, whereas 1100 are 34T.
  9. Very nice. Lucky man!
  10. Cheers, mate! I’ll dig mine out and do a comparison.
  11. Is cutting the rot out, and welding in a piece of pipe an option?
  12. Check the part numbers out on an online fische.
  13. No ‘Cunning Plan’ for ‘that c*nting tank’ then, Balders???
  14. Just something a wee bit different, Tones. Stands out!
