  1. Was not really sure where to put this my self as it looks air cooled to me but I have read that it has more in common with the oil cooled motors, that don't really matter to me. But I have got hold of a 750es piston without stripping the good motor and the gudgeon pin appears to be 18mm.

    15-42

Why ? is running 16/42 not the same as 15/45 as near as dammit ? and if it is Rene only needs to change the front sprocket which is a lot cheaper than a custom back one.
  3. Should I maybe have put this in oil cooled ?
  4. I do Sam. Quite like the look of the little es in the pop kat.
  5. Am looking into big boring a gsx 750 es on the cheap, so am wondering what the gudgeon pin size is ? I know the 750 es pistons are 63mm and slabby 750 is 70mm according to what I have read, but don't know the pin size.

    7/11

Exploring all options with this, standard, big bore, 1100es lump might fit with frame mods but maybe body work would not, and fitting b12 turbo. What size are the gudgeon pins on the standard motor ? (Started to call it the purple people eater lol but it aint staying like that.)

    7/11

Hi all, just got home with this pop up 750 katana tonight. I also have a 1100es motor sat under a bench, question is will it fit the pop up kat frame ?

    Power

Have been wondering what the maximum power for a gsx 1100f power screen motor is capable of, even though it has the helical clutch drive rather than the straight cut gsxr's and b12 one's. Any one got one or heard of one with big power ?
  10. Cool as fooook m8, always wanted one of them.
  11. Would be foolish not to buy it.
  12. As far as I am aware this is possible, I know the gudgeon pins are different sizes and flywheel ? Why I ask is I have a Roger Upperton welded ET crank and a efe engine in bits with a knackered crank.
  13. External might be better depending on head gasket. Just from experience on 1340 motor.
  14. I have one, as said just bolts on use b12 cam sprockets in your case my one is on a slabby 1052. The head on my one has been flowed as well never had it on a dyno but it revs high and goes like shit off a stick.
  15. Look in projects for Me NWS slabby.
  16. That one is a bit expensive though.
  17. Have just ordered a car cooler from china 19 row with an-10 lines like above pic for 66 pounds and 20 pence. Have forgotten what size the sump bolts are as I will need adaptors from an-10 to sump, anyone know the size ?
  18. Its powder chrome, looks like chrome in the sunlight but in a dark shed looks like old polished ally. LSN Coatings did it from Castleford. Not sure on the cost for a frame as I had a lot of stuff powdered all at the same time.
  19. A good powder coaters can make a good job, this one was a mess before coating. Always worth trying to clean the old one up first.
  20. I know this one is a later slabby 1100 one.
