Just been for the first ride on this after sorting it out.... What a HOOT, haven't ridden a bog standard GSXR for years, my knees ached just looking at it, but i bent my old bones into shape and did 30 miles round the Trowbridge GP circuit What a laugh... Yes its big and heavy and got a ridiculous riding position for a 6.2 fat bloke, but it goes like a hairy bear and is fun fun fun... And it just like all the gsxr's i had yeasr ago, as soon as I set off it went on reserve,, Fek So do I keep it or sell it Im off for a lie down now

Fit a pair of bog standard coils from a gsxr or bandit and eliminate the dyna stuff, ive had 2 sets of second hand ones over the years and both failed sooner or later, 2 duff cylinders same coil,,,

Robinsons have them on sale at the moment, bottom one is 32006 £21.88 or simply bearings do one for £12.53 and top one 32005JR £16.88 or £10.93 from simply bearings. ive used Koyo and FAG before from simply bearings and they are fine..

I use the sump plug on me harris. works a treat

First foz, check the stelles, no 5 and 6 should be 2 mm all the rest are 1.6 mm so if, like mine, it came from the factory with all 1.6 mm steels, you have no chance.. mine worked fine until the first time I went on a track it lasted 5 laps then slipped like buggery, too a while to find out what it was.. ive got one barnett spring if you need it shipmate..

I did try with 2 in another bandit i had, it was fekin heavy, but not so heavy for track use, traffic might be a diffefant story

Fozzy, mines 150 like you said, i fitted all new genuine fibers and onr hd barnett spring and it's been spot on ever since i fitted it in 2009, and mine is just used on track days and hill climbs...check the steeles 2 are thicker or should be, mine came from new with all the same size.

Yes ,, I couldnt afford the RGV parts i the end so used gsxr 400 which look very similar and cost peanuts.
