To add my 'two pennies worth' of wisdom...... I have a GSXR400 that maybe has something approaching 60 bhp and to ride that properly and make good progress always makes me smile like a b*stard !! I love keeping the motor in the fun zone and just slinging it in to corners. Proper , proper fun. All I'm trying to say is that you don't always need big horse power to get the grin factor.

If you post the engine number there are clever people on here that can decipher the codes and tell you what engine you have ! Should be no guess work then. And a photo will identify what carbs you have.

@KimberkatanaI would be interested in the spare DOT head you have. I'm in Peterborough so can't be too far away from each other as well.

It'll never work ! you need to post the DOT head in the 'for sale' section really cheap and then I can buy it for my project.

I do like the the bare steel and brazed joints look with a clear coat to protect it. I'd do the same on my Mag 4 and still might on the next rebuild.

They sure do. Just got a couple of bits delivered from them and the quality is fantastic. Great sevice as well.
