Pete Stansfield Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 This bike was stolen from Cannock two nights ago. It has a 1216 motor built by Wayne Little, Mikuni RS40s, Dyna ignition, Vance Hines 4-1 system, JMC arm with 6" slots, Nitrous system..... Quite probably in bits by now but if you hear anything please let me know. 07969050019. 1 Quote
eddiegsx Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Thievin twats, hate the bastards! good luck getting her back in good order mate. Quote
jonny1bump Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 I'm shocked thought our stuff would be of little interest how wrong to think that. Gutted for you. Quote
Pete Stansfield Posted August 7, 2018 Author Posted August 7, 2018 It wasn't my bike, i had done a deal to buy it but it was pinched before i could get to pick it up along with an MV. Quote
CockneyRick Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 As a whole it's not worth stealing, but in bits (especially if they knew the spec) It's worth a lot. Chances are it's someone who heard it was available to sell. Good luck finding it Quote

Two blokes came to look at it mid week, took a video of it and left a false phone number. All pretty obvious now but at the time... They took his MV as well so not a bad nights work ! Quote
CockneyRick Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 Cunts, def sounds like a scoping operation! I'm always wary of selling from my address, but as a buyer not keen on buying from somewhere not the sellers address. Vicious circle really! Had the Pikeys on a field nearby, they send the kids out on pushbikes scoping the garages, i never opened mine for a week till they were moved on! Quote

I also get them to ring me on the phone in their hands to get the number, never a piece of paper 1 Quote

No real safe way, if you want to sell something you have to let people come and have a look so you run the risk. I guess we should film/photograph anyone who comes. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though.... Quote
B12Mick Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 Thieving scum, hopefully the parts will surface sooner or later and the toe rags can be caught ( dealt with ) Quote
jonny1bump Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 (edited) When I sold my old h1 I met bloke at train station initially. Your right it is difficult. It's not like you can just claim on insurance and replace it. Edited August 7, 2018 by jonny1bump Quote
manden Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 im having mine evaluated by the insurance company asap. Quote

Andicog Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Get it all over the net, face book, all the forums, send a pic to Practical sports bike mag, make it too hot for them to handle. When mine was nicked I put it everywhere, bastards dumped it after about 2 weeks, was complete as well. Now if only the police had told me it had been recoverd 5 mins from my home and Hills salvage hadn't tried to steal the bodywork . . . .. Got it back though and that's what counts. Quote
