downtheshed Posted August 3, 2018 Author Posted August 3, 2018 Bike has arrived on the island, Dave, the rider has been going thru it this week making a few alterations to suit himself. The main one was the Beowolf end can, he felt may have been to restrictive so this has been binned in favour of a new slash cut end pipe ala moto gp style. I've tried to post a video nut it's not supported on here. Dave has also booked a trckday for tomorrow at Jurby , to get himself acclimatised to the bike , hoping for a positive vibe . 12 days and counting until we land ourselves on the island. New logo and all getting made for it. 3 Quote
downtheshed Posted August 14, 2018 Author Posted August 14, 2018 Shake down tests at Jurby. Rider very happy with the stability. 4 Quote
downtheshed Posted August 20, 2018 Author Posted August 20, 2018 Well 1st lap completed at 107.8 mph, it was Dave's 1st ever lap on a slabby, so getting familiar with it. No major issues with it, broken exhaust spring only. We replaced the clutch for a Barnett one before setting off. So all good so far. 6 Quote
