downtheshed Posted August 3, 2018 Author Share Posted August 3, 2018 Bike has arrived on the island, Dave, the rider has been going thru it this week making a few alterations to suit himself. The main one was the Beowolf end can, he felt may have been to restrictive so this has been binned in favour of a new slash cut end pipe ala moto gp style. I've tried to post a video nut it's not supported on here. Dave has also booked a trckday for tomorrow at Jurby , to get himself acclimatised to the bike , hoping for a positive vibe . 12 days and counting until we land ourselves on the island. downtheshed Posted August 20, 2018 Author Share Posted August 20, 2018 Well 1st lap completed at 107.8 mph, it was Dave's 1st ever lap on a slabby, so getting familiar with it. No major issues with it, broken exhaust spring only. We replaced the clutch for a Barnett one before setting off. So all good so far. 6 Quote Link to comment
