Spondon turbo - Bill Hunter

Anyone know what happened to Bill's beam frame Spondon GSX turbo/nitrous that used to compete in Ultimate Streetbike in the 80s and 90s??

It was for sale on Eblag a year or two ago, from Ireland, for some ridiculous price.

That sounds about right, as he sold it to a bloke from Ireland in the mid 90s. Wonder where it is now?

Still in Ireland because of who's bike it was he wanted 15k, and from the pictures he sent me it was parked up and left derelict in the corner

Martin the current owner is on here, #1168turbo, think he's gone back to the States at the moment. And if I had the money I'd pay £15k for it. But Bill was a local lad and I guess it would mean more for me. It's not £15K's worth of motorcycle granted, but it is £15k of Kool

The tube frame one got turned into a bandit 12, hopefully the beam framed one wont get sold and ruined.

Not a great fan of the beam one but no doubt its probably a better bike.

Just looking through this  again, does anyone have any photos of i think it was a spondon or harris that was a black bike with brightly coloured triangles all over it, was about the same time as the bill hunter spondon, thanks. It was mirage paintwork if i remember correctly

That was lucky, don't know where it was from, I took the pic at the NEC think Harris were using the bike to advertise their products at the time.
