bluedog59
According to all the builders reports in magazine articles, they all handle brilliantly no matter what fork/swingarm/engine combo they have. Make of that what you will. 1 Quote Link to comment
MeanBean49
No need to brace anything swingarm mount wise. Actually stronger than a bandit. They do handle and ride nice too. I would quite happily ride mine on a track day. Quote Link to comment

I put bracing in around headstock but more for somewhere to mount coils than strength. Nothing wrong with swingarm mounts. They arent going yo move, strength is there is across the frane through swingarm. Old thread alert, that blue and white Savage is awesome anymore details on it, have you all used Oilboilers in them Quote Link to comment

Personally I think they look awfull structurally. I know they aren't expensive and people have built some good looking bikes based on them, which function adequately. But they wouldn't be on my list to base a build around. Quote Link to comment

If I was building a propper race bike I wouldnt want to use one without a fair bit of bracing. But for what they are, and how they are mainly used they are great, did a track day on mine and it worked well enough in much the same way a bandit does. 1 Quote Link to comment
