busa ash Posted October 3, 2019 Author Posted October 3, 2019 Exhaust time , have sent emails to two companies for a stainless swaged 2.5 to 3.5 inch pipe 1 Quote
busa ash Posted October 16, 2019 Author Posted October 16, 2019 Few more steps forward and then brand new chain too short ... Made indicator mounts and Re fitted stripe so it fits headlight better long list of parts still to fettle it's the last 10% of a build that takes the longest 2 Quote

baldrick Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 (edited) its looking good now, but the exhaust im not so sure about, personally. it looks un balanced, if you get my drift, maybe its the masking tape, I dunno ? could racefit not have knocked you up a connector from the can to mimic the rear of the can, i.e. hidden under the carbon, and rivitted?. and with springs instead of that ugly connector bracket? anyway its not my bike so just ignore me. I couldn't agree more about the last 5-10% being the most difficult to complete the build, its always the way eh? Whats next to be done? Edited October 16, 2019 by baldrick Quote
busa ash Posted October 16, 2019 Author Posted October 16, 2019 Racefit could have I am sure but I dont have race fit money , I own a few bikes so money is thin on the ground . Race fit only use titanium and I have stainless headers and link pipe , I am only using the racefit can as it's all I have in 2.5 inch on the shelf . Need an offset 525 sprocket the hunt continues 1 Quote

busa ash Posted October 16, 2019 Author Posted October 16, 2019 I spent an hour with a flap disc I now have a modded sprocket was 530 now 525, tried grumpy 1260 and talon no joy in 525 2 Quote
vizman Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 I couldn’t find an offset 525 front sprocket anywhere for the dudettes slabby, so I made one out of two, didn’t even cross my mind to whittle down a 530 one.... 1 Quote
