Going to turbo my 7/12 covid 50 project. It's going to be using a blandit 12 motor and I think the turbo is a td25 (bought ages ago Eblag special) does anybody have a list of parts needed for doing this. As in fuel pumps, oil scavengers etc .........gonna start collecting and get on with it. Cheers for any help

Are you staying with carbs?

Headers, turbo, silicone joiners and Mikalor clamps, pound notes, air filter, oil feed for turbo, up pipe, dump valve, plenum, money tree, various vac pipes, decent fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel lines, more money, malpassi pressure reg (for carbs) fuel take off and a return welded into your tank, scavenge pump of the turbo drain, lock up clutch and cover and some form of boost control.

All that assuming your engine is prepped for boooooost!

Here you go: https://www.proboost.fi/motorcycle-turbo-kits

Even if you aren't going to get a kit that gives you some idea.

That's a good price for the GSX kits considering the exchange rate.

The warnings they have to put on the website make me chuckle

Turbo kits substantially increases the speed, horse power and torque of the recreational vehicle and can result in injury or death to the rider, any passengers or bystanders.

Yes, I think their kits offer pretty good value for the money. Sure you can build similar kit cheaper. Assuming that you know what you are doing and can make everything by yourself. But in reality you can easily end up spending more.

Well, they sell the kits worldwide, including USA :P

I think I'm in the same position as many in that putting the kit together, getting it running etc I can do myself. The sticking point is TIG welding aluminium for the plenum, and stainless for the headers. Once you outsource those then the mark up on the other bits as a kit seems a small consideration.

That's exactly what I meant. Then add few milled or turned parts that you have to outsource and maybe re-doing some of welded parts. Suddenly total is more than the kit...

Just got a 1127 L motor, would the gsxr or the bandit motor be a better starting point for a turbo build (busa pistons etc)?

Blandit has thicker liners so better for 1216 bore

Do bandits work better on the cam side as well ? Was thinking more for the clutch etc
