Joseph
While rebuilding the Katana/GSXR bike i've further evolved the fuel supply system. No longer using a tap in the stock location, this time i'd like to make a clean block off plate and gasket. Just needs to be a flat piece of rubber sheet, but anything i've bought so far (including supposedly fuel compatible) just gets melted and bloated by fuel contact Surely there is something out there ? Why does it need to be rubber ... Just use some decent thick gasket paper ... 1 Quote Link to comment
TonyGee
Ive used thin Viton rubber on some of my taps and blanking plates with no problem, but as said some thick gasket paper and maybe a thin smear of grey 3bond should work. 2 Quote Link to comment

Upshotknothole
I've used thick gasket material for Pingel adapter plates. You could also use an OEM gasket with your block off plate. Quote Link to comment

Ok i'll make a paper one, i've got some 1mm left over Oem gasket would be nice but it would require my plate to have the locating groove milled into it 1 Quote Link to comment
