fatblokeonbandit
Hopefully Clive….. With luck the nut and washer plopped into the sump and didn’t get tangled up with anything else. anyway swapping engines from teapot to bandit before Angelsey in 2 weeks….. I’ll look at it later. 1 Quote Link to comment

fatblokeonbandit
This was one I put together from bits of 4 engines as a spare…. It ended up in my bandit as bandit motor was in teapot…. bottom end came from a power screen engine I bought for peanuts, can’t remember having alternator off, just looked in sump cleaned strainer and put it back together…..81mm barrels, set or second hand wiseco 1216 pistons with one set or rings missing, spare mr upperton head Gsxr1100 cams, it went surprisingly well for a bitza!, probably should have checked the alternator gear. hopefully nuts and washer are in sump Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Not good. Ones I've seen have usually been punchy on the edge of the threads to stop the nut coming undone ? 1 Quote Link to comment
Dezza
A very good result (hear me out). If the nut or washer had got in somewhere and locked the back wheel at speed it could have all ended in tears or worse. But it didn't . Edited May 13, 2023 by Dezza Quote Link to comment

Losiu
I once found a lost piston and rings behind the clutch basket After years, I'm happy. Until this adventure, I had one Suzuki. As a consequence, the engine was replaced with 1157 in teapot. Now I have four and a pile of parts Quote Link to comment
