clivegto Posted April 5, 2023 Author Posted April 5, 2023 (edited) Bought a b6 top yoke with risers and an ignition for the risers, then set about fitting them to the stepped top yoke. I'm not entirely happy with them so they will probably get changed but they'll do for now. Edited April 5, 2023 by clivegto 1 Quote
TonyGee Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 I think thats a B12 top yoke, B6 handlebar clamps are part of the casting. Quote

clivegto Posted April 6, 2023 Author Posted April 6, 2023 Got the headers back off Will with the T25 flange welded on. Polished it up and test fit. It blooming tight to the engine with only 1mm clearance but that's not a bad thing . 2 Quote
DAZ Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 (edited) Looking top drawer that is ,and clearance is clearance if it's close to the motor you've less to worry about with the front wheel Edited April 6, 2023 by DAZ Bleeding predictive text Quote

clivegto Posted April 7, 2023 Author Posted April 7, 2023 Mr Grinder did indeed come into play . Started to make a new headlight bracket. 3 Quote
imago Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 That's a massive improvement on the tow bar bracket you removed. Personally I've always found headlamp brackets on a naked bike are pretty much impossible to get 'right'. No matter if they're original, bought or fabricated they never seem to look how you think they should. I guess someone at Suzuki felt the same when they came up with the ET/EX cowl. Even though the design appears to be based on a breeze block it's better than exposed brackets. Quote
clivegto Posted April 7, 2023 Author Posted April 7, 2023 (edited) Not sure on the proportions, might alter it a bit Edited April 7, 2023 by clivegto Quote

clivegto Posted April 8, 2023 Author Posted April 8, 2023 I was going for the minimal look with the spot light's but think I'm going to go use over looks and fit an extra wide 19 row oil cooler up front and an intercooler above the turbo with a head cool in the seat unit. 3 Quote

I like the coolers out front look on a naked bike, it's form and function for me. Basically the exact opposite of bolt on bling. 3 Quote

clivegto Posted April 12, 2023 Author Posted April 12, 2023 (edited) Brand sparking new Setrab extra wide 19 row oil cooler arrived today Have a couple of these on 2 of my other bikes which I like because there's more oil cooling and if mounted the normal way with the outlets pointing up there's no fork interference between the forks and the cooler fittings. Got the other 2 second hand so a first for me having a new one lol. Edited April 12, 2023 by clivegto 2 Quote
Dezza Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 What fittings does it take? it looks like some sort of adapters are required in order to use standard AN fittings. Quote
