rodneya Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 There are not a lot of options I can find for new piston kits that are actually in stock. Looking at Wiseco 1133 and 1168 kits. Any recommendations on which to go with? Quote

I run these on my turbo engine for several years, nothing bad to say about them. http://www.wiseco.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ItemID=4345M07700&ModelID=180&ModelYear=1985&AppID=7747 Quote

rodneya Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 I ordered the Wiseco 1168 kit which shows in stock, but he was unable to get one. So now I am waiting for the JE 1170 kit 1 Quote
coombehouse Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Don't know about the JE kit but on the Wiseco pistons the inlet valve cutouts are too shallow, not even as deep as standard pistons. Definitely worth measuring particularly if you are fitting bigger cams now or in the future. Quote
