Katana 1100 engine rebuild

There are not a lot of options I can find for new piston kits that are actually in stock. Looking at Wiseco  1133 and 1168 kits. Any recommendations on which to go with?

Wiseco makes 77mm flat top pistons. Those result 1230cc and about 10.5:1 compression. I run these on my turbo engine for several years, nothing bad to say about them.

I ordered the Wiseco 1168 kit which shows in stock, but he was unable to get one. So now I am waiting for the JE 1170 kit

Don't know about the JE kit but on the Wiseco pistons the inlet valve cutouts are too shallow, not even as deep as standard pistons. Definitely worth measuring particularly if you are fitting bigger cams now or in the future.
