wraith Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Got the new headlight for the Kat today and got it fitted Side light Dip beam High beam Dead easy to fit, goes straight in, just need to remover about 2mm if that from the corners of the rim that goes round the headlight glass. And yes as they come in pairs I will be putting the other one up in the for sale section 6 Quote

wraith Posted May 5, 2019 Author Posted May 5, 2019 Well looks like there's plenty of choice of you want to change/upgrade the headlight on your kat/ET So you have MR2, Jeep, Bedford Rascal, Suzuki Supercarry, and I bet there is more Put this clear lease one on my ET project, because I'd put the other one on my GS1000 much better viability at night. MR2 again Quote

Gammaboy Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 (edited) I *think* ET, ES, Katana and pop up katana all use the same 7"x5" standard headlight, although ES has a funny slopey front on it. Edited May 6, 2019 by Gammaboy 1 Quote

Hacri Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 It's not the same part no, and the ES the glass is at an angle, thin on top and fat at the bottom. But the dimensions may be the same. Have to messure Quote

wraith Posted May 8, 2019 Author Posted May 8, 2019 The LED's under the fairing i put on when I had the standard headlight on and had a tinted cover over it. I not ridden the bike at night yet, I think @Ash had something similar in his kat? (A year or two ago) Quote
Gammaboy Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 I used a Raybrig for a RX7/MX5/MR2/Hilux, was miles better than the stocker (Using the same bulb) 1 Quote
wraith Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 On my gs1000 and the gsx1157et (pic above) I've used a clear lease mr2, with a Philip's H4 55-60w bulb in it and for night riding (only used the gs) it's brill. Quote
