Wagola Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Pretty sure that ISR make discs to suit/order. Not sure on the cost tho. 1 Quote

Looks a bit shit. So... I've had the disc itself made, I think the the manufacturer made 2. The bell and bobbins are in progess. 6 Quote

Maybe they have still the option to make a 'new old style' disc to match old wheels ? worth an ask ?? Quote
Dezza Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 That's an old Harris rear disc: I chucked one out in the scrap about 25 years ago. Doh!!!! ISR will make a bespoke rear disc for you, floating or fixed. Details on Bike HPS website. 2 Quote

flatline Posted September 18, 2021 Author Posted September 18, 2021 Damn - just discovered that the Öhlins/AP Lockheed front end was originally intended to fit a Kawasaki ZX10… but now bolted to a Harris frame… I guess that this falls out with the confines of Oldschool Suzuki… pls delete my account ASAP 1 Quote

flatline Posted October 4, 2021 Author Posted October 4, 2021 Update… ISR made a one-off rear disc for me… it took many weeks to get the BCD (Bolt Centre Diameter) for the unusual 7-bolt fitting from Dymag… multiple e-mails & ‘phone calls… measured everything multiple times, and sweated over the offset as it had to be pretty much within 0.1 - 0.2mm to fit… Happy that it all fits as required 11 Quote
Dezza Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Seven bolts for a rear disc is a strange fitment, even for race wheels. Are the wheels NOS? I ask as they are the older Dymag 7 spoke design, that dont have a hole at the base of each spoke. These were available in either magnesium or aluminium alloy, whereas the newer ones are aluminium only. I am aware of these mind-numbingly boring details as I have a similar set from a ZX10R race bike waiting to go on my next project, like that's going to happen this decade..... 2 Quote
flatline Posted October 5, 2021 Author Posted October 5, 2021 Forged magnesium; bought new around 2008/9 when I was working offshore & still had some money!! 2 Quote
