  1. Ahhhh gotcha. so it can be adapted to use a speedo sensor. nice idea
  2. WTF....!!!! That is one hell of a build Yantosh.... im fucked to know how u figure all this shit out. Great build, well done....
  3. excuse my ignorance, but why would u want to drill the shaft, is it only for fixing a lock nut to hold the sprocket nut on...? or does it serve another purpose
  4. Thats a shame, cause he has some nice stuff but not the first time ive heard they are shit. hence the qustion in the start of topic. Where are u based..?
  5. All the classic suzuki TT bikes and most privaters use Nova 6 speed close ratio boxes, completely different to a std 6 speed box, i wanted one for my race bike....but cant afford the 2.5k they want for it..
  6. Yep very true....i used it cause i was skint and couldnt be arsed with it. but im in the process of changing it over to a pingel now. and relocating the fcuker to the rear of the tank....i hate it in the original position for racing purposes.
  7. What he said....ragged edge fairings, airtech fairings......?

Def like this tail more, the lines flow alittle better with the tank and frame.
  10. Had to be the wiring after you eliminated all possibilities. lets hope it all works out, wiring gremlins suck ass.
  11. I have no dramas with my original fuel tap on my FCR39 track bike, its a 91 model tank and tap. i switch it to prime and run both fuel lines to the carbs and the vacuum hose to the number 4 intake rubber. I have no problems at all on track with fuel starvation. but will depend on the fuel tap, they did change on some models
  12. all front sprockets on the oil cooled motors are the same spline (z13) But not all used the same pitch. the 1100's where 532 while the 750's and 1200's where 530. But u can also convert to 520 for the race version which is alot lighter in terms of chain and sprocket combination weight hope that answers ur question
  13. Sorry my bad. Misread the post. Clutch output shaft is different from gen 1 to gen 2
  14. gen 1 are different to gen 2
  15. ahhhhhh NOOOOOO. sucks to hear.... has to be something with the wiring. cant think of anything if everything else is working
  16. HAHAHAHA....ok ok, sometimes they shit themselves. but with the knowledge on here, there isnt a problem i havnt seen fixed or rectified by advice or self taught experience. And yes, modern tech parts like stick coils are a great upgrade, stick coils arnt rocket science so we can easily fix or replace them at low cost. but they help the old girls survive dying old parts. All my 5 girls are over 30 except for the K4 1000, but your right...i just cant imagine owning a new bike, id go mental if i couldnt work on it myself
  17. no need for bigger valves but if u want a bit of a refresh on the head just reseat or lap the valves. u got the head off and its worth the effort at very little cost
  18. glad u got it sorted...best thing bout the old girls is most of the time u can sort it out urself. Its either fuel, spark or ignition....go knows how they diagnose electrical problems on these new race bikes...
  19. Ok. Check ur carb balance or sounds like your carb slides are sticking. Or something is causing them to stick once u feed fuel in there. if u had a spare set of carbs, change them ans see wat happens..
  20. check the pick up behind the stator cover and make sure the oil pressure plug is screwed in tight. then if u can swap the ECU. sounds like an ignition problem.
  21. Turbos are beyond my knowledge im afraid....some of the lads on here will have the brains to help you
  22. Looking awesome, luving the front end. U Can make a small spacer for the rear discs....get something laser cut out of stainless or even steel in 2.5-3.5mm should do it
  23. Looking good, reminds me of the candy apple red ppl used to paint hotrods back in the day
  24. welcome aboard.....nice color scheme for an M
