  1. Ingenuity with that laser pen.. cool stuff
  2. How's rear wheel alignment?
  3. Forged alloy? Mag? No CF?
  4. Exactly, the rear sprocket is bob on the middle of the carrier bearing. The front sprocket, well I'm sure you know why I wouldn't want to move it further out For reference, my rear wheel is a 1000k1/8. The distance between the centre of the wheel, and the face the sprocket sits against: +- 117,5mm TL +- 111mm
  5. Not on it's own, agreed. But when a 530 runs close to the frame, a 520 will let you move the whole chain almost 4mm? further out.
  6. How much meat is on the carrier? I have one that is only 13mm thick. If you're on 530, 520 will buy you a few mill... and save some weight in the process.
  7. Sooo, chainline is same as 1000k5? or 600?
  8. Those wheels have a front hub width of 128mm I believe. Disc centres are 132 apart I think, 0,5mm disc offset. The aftermarket wheels I have should be 1000k5/8, front is anyway. Flange to bolt the sprocket against is 117,5mm from wheel centre.
  9. Slightly smaller axel, slightly bigger diameters.. I'd go with old gix forks too. The rings on the outer legs, just above the seals may give some clues too when you search for pics on the interwebs.
  10. That rear of the tank mount area looks neat
  11. Your bike looks like a right beast, very cool No distraction from frame either, just solid line off tank and seat
  12. Never read about it that I can remember. However, search for TL1000 tracker and there will be a few TL'd bikes with carbies..
  13. Handlebar position looks well comfy! But I wonder, does that screen do anything useful?
  14. That will change the alignment of the discs in the calipers.. could be fine..but might be good to keep an eye on.
  15. Any more clues to this puzzle? Like which brakes, forks and yokes and so on?
  16. Thanks for that! Even I understood most of that explanation!
  17. Will that be the venue that also celebrates the TL's 20 year anniversary?
  18. The thing commonly done is the pushrod seal (engine side) from a SV1000 onto a TL engine. Do not know about the piston side. Allthough this is how a TLR slave looks like:
  19. TLRS

    wobbles !

Has the front fork been checked? Does it stick a lot?
  20. Was kinda hoping he was still on the 1100 with the copper pipe/gardenhose turbo mad max thing!
