as far as I know you can swap mineral for semi synthetic without any problems. But mineral should also be ok for your bike (although someone migth correct me)

the engine was designed for 10w40 so it's best to use 10w40. Higher viscosity will only make your clutch issue worse. Semi synthetic motorcycle oil, no car oil.

don't get me wrong, there are people on here who like stock original bikes. And they will answer your questions. But in general we like to modify the f@ck out off our bikes.

Welcome. Have you read the rules yet? Stock B12 pics are a bigger offence here than RF900's. And we don't really do stock/original here. Read some project topics, have a look in the forced induction section, and soon you'll also be adding boost and installing modern forks/wheels. You can thank me later.

Hi and welcome to OSS. To be really sure the carbs are clean, have them ultrasonic cleaned.

Just warm up the engine completely (go for a good thrash), that'll fix it.

i think he means a manual clutch (still NFI what that is)

that's why there are seals under the bolts from the factory
