Got two 750f jdm bikes neither has vin plate uk one has vin plate, the numbers stamped on head stock are all stamped differently

How much if any end float should there be on main shaft once sprocket is removed ?

Thanks for the replies folks, fired the stove up and put carbs on top, took dog for a walk and by time i got back carbs were nice n hot the ground down an old pair of snips and got pins out no probs, so glad i just didn't put them back together as i've nere seen so much crud behind needle valve filters

I've been give carbs a quick clean but struggling to remove float pins, never come across pins as tightas these before. Any ideas?

There is a tab on rear of battery box its bottom mount for rear mudgaurd

@bernardois your frame number on a tag on left of head stock ? I have a frame that has GR75A 101XXX on plate on left but my complete bike which was pretty much original when I got it has GR71F 103XXX stamped on right side of head stock.

Found more differences, F has horn mounted below coils G is on headlight/fairing bracket, and the fairing mount below headlights is different. @Swiss Toniis your frame number stamped on right of headstock or on a plate on left .

GR71F , Was your bike complete when you got it ? as well as fairing and swing arm differences the other things i have noticed is earlier bikes have flush tail light and bar end weights 45mm long later modles were 35mm long there was also a change in front wheel spindle size but don't remember when that happened.

DVLA are bunch of arseholes who don't listen and don't care, my F is on a C plate and my G is on B plate but try telling them it's wrong and it's the usual "out records show" bullshit they weren't interested in changing or helping sort it out.

I'm doing some work on a tl for a friend and need info on wiring for rev counter and dash lights, some one has tried to fit a koso Speedo and butchered the wiring loom.
