  1. The ones that sit between the carb rubbers & head
  2. Well Ole Fatty didn't let me down, needed a jump but started virtually 1st time after nearly 2 yrs in storage! Yoshi was not so forgiving, not budging from hibernation Serious dust & corrosion has set in, even the grips have gone mouldy!
  3. When i first built my Yoshi on 1st runout, some fella came over to me & said "do you normally run it like that" pointing at my sprocket. No nut! It had still undone itself & the sprocket was just floating on the shaft. Luckily the special cover kept it barely in place! One jubilee clip later & i got home
  4. Did u bother cleaning everything thoroughly? Tiny bit of grit will make it all pointless
  5. Tis on a custom loom with original GSXF plugs (2) on it, so will limit myself to that & GSXR11 then. Ithangew
  6. I think you should still have one
  7. Looking to source a GSX1100F CDI as i have a GSXR750 one. So are all the 1100 CDI's pretty much the same as far as rev range etc goes? As in GSXR/Bandit/GSXF etc. Or are there ones to avoid when putting on the 1100F lump i'm using?
  8. Nice reminder pmsl! Cheers matey
  9. Got this off someone on here (forgot as usual) & have ordered an adapter plug (Thanks Dave Dunlop) for the ignition cover lower gallery plug on 1127 lump so i can put a banjo in it. So the question is, will it run as is, or should there be a way to bleed the air from the hose to get it full of oil? Methinks it'll just drain back into the crankcase
  10. Sounds like a lot of hard work! I'm guessing that there are adapters to reduce it from whatever size it is to M10x1.25 Female? Same as the cam to cam link adapters?
  11. Was it Wallace & Grommits bike?
  12. Like the cam link converter type? Mine's not tampered with, still got the hex head. Just didn't want to force it at the angle i was trying to work from & totally round it off!
  13. While still attached to engine
  14. Well if u go the drilling route, expect a big bill
  15. Why not try glueing it on? good luck with drilling it
  16. Want to run a OP gauge from this point (robbed pics) as mine's on the bike ramp & limited access to RH side. Tried undoing it, but the buggers tight & angle of me was bad. So rather than round it off, i'll wait til it's off the ramp. And with that said, i have the gauge & std banjo on the end, but i'd guess it's way too small, so what do i need to attach it?
  17. That original Yosh/Bandit pic was always on my "next project" plan. Would be the 1st & only time i'd be using bandit bits that's for sure!
  18. Having said all that, you may have no choice but to cut more as the linkage is gonna foul things
  19. One thing to be aware of tho is the gearshaft is integral to the cover not flexing when using clutch. So you need to retain as many of the mount bolt holes as poss to stop that happening. I would suggest this piece, so retaining bolts either side, then extend clutch pushrod by same as spacers on all the bolts
  20. As @davecarasays, cheapest option is cut the bottom of sprocket cover off & space out as needed

    Spark plug

As above, get away with an 8 or 10
  22. Got a rose joint on my steering damper & cos the rose part sits proud of the holder part, the bracket itself is quite sloppy as it only clamps agains't the rose. I assume the quality of the rose joint is my issue, so as long as they're a good make, then hopefully it'll be ok
  23. I'm guessing tho, that in a spill the force would turn em on the forks & make them pointless?
