  1. As above, remove the whole clutch & check it all out
  2. Don't have an ignition, mine is live with killswitch lanyard in place & live feed when removed to relay to kill power to everything else.
  3. TBH the GSX1100F engine (Same as mine in my Drag bike build thread) is just an 1127 lump. So any 1127 Alt will fit, & prob all 1052's & even Blandit 12's

  5. Out of curiosity, what is/are the std lengths (pivot>spindle) of the 750 & 1100 Slabbies? No idea what mine is **" over!
  6. So really i need a switched feed from whatever on this loom to the Orange wire, or i get nothing back. Also i would assume a perm live feed to the Orange is not a good idea?
  7. Yes there should be no problem swapping the drive gear over. I don't think there's a difference between em bar the teeth count but just double check the height (stand the alt up & measure its height with either gear on) Oh & make sure the gear is properly torqued/Loctited on
  8. Should be ok, i know the 7 & 11 are different teeth. Just check depth to be sure

  10. had a word with Cosmo & he said his runs with just the Red>Batt+ connected. However he did suggest putting Orange to batt+ too if it don't charge. This is all subjecctive at the mo, cos the engine is dry & not ready to turn over just yet. Saw this post & made me wonder? (Sorry for hijack @Blue)
  11. As DnD says, gear swap & 2 wires. Red to Batt+ Orange to fusebox/switch feed.

  13. I have an issue here too. I have a very basic loom for the drag bike. No ign, lights, etc. Cosmo did the loom but nothing to connect up the 2 Alt wires. I asked him & he said, Red to Batt+ & leave orange off. Having read this, if the orange is the trigger for it to charge, how is mine gonna work?

  17. Having spoke to FBM i can get a lock up for this from him, but he doesn't have the 4x buttons. Any ideas where i can get em?
  18. Been a long time since i've done this (If ever) & can't remember what i need. So i have a GSX1100F clutch with helical gear, & i want to convert it to a Diaphragm clutch (I know they're worse) so i can run the Snowflake lock up i have here. What do i need & swap over? My clutch is in pic.
  19. Time is spent on the "drag bike" but seriously limited on hip movement! I even tried to sit on it & had one hell of a job getting my leg over So reason is simply that, just not fit enough to ride em, but as they're my retirement fund, they're going nowhere
  20. @colinworth79 Do u know what the size is of the blue adapter on the gauge? Seems to be M10x1.00 but @gsxr884suggests it's possibly a AN to 3/8 fitting?
