  1. Ok , thanks for that @fatblokeonbanditi have two in a box of bits (don't know if they are gsxr750 or 1052) so I will remove the one in the b12 motor and see what's what.
  2. I've used them on two or three bikes, you don't get big bhp but it dose seem to give more throttle response and makes the engine feel more responsive. Some people say a 4 degree is better some say a 5 is better, used both and I'd say no real difference. I'm not a big one for putting my bikes on the Dyna, I more play with the jetting till it feels right on the road where it count's. I know how big my dick is and don't need a piece of paper saying it and if you want to go a bit faster ever go on a diet or have a good shit before you go on your bike
  3. A mate had a gs7/10 for years, told me it was a strate swop, just needed to tweek the mounts/ swop/interchange/mixup the 750 and 1000 mounts, he was even using the 750 airbox as it was a all year round bike. Not done it myself so only repeating what I was told, as I was thinking of doing myself when I had a spare 1000 motor.
  4. Mmmm, like the way you think, going to look nice
  5. Dose anybody know, is the GSXR cam Chain tensioner the same a the mk1 B12 one, or can you use a GSXR one in a B12 ? Cheers.
  6. Yes that always seems to happen to me all the time have something in the shed for years and never use it, then try and sell it but no sale so end up putting it in the bin, then a year or so later find you need/want one and can never get one for a good price
  7. You beat me to that question Did look at the later gsxr600/750/1000 k1/2 and the srad one's but they where no way near.
  8. Hi all, Dose anybody know if you can get a rear hugger/mud guard for the gsxr750wr? Been looking around but can't find one if not is there one that will fit off a latter model? Cheers.
  9. Cheers I was thinking that would be the case but always worth asking.
  10. Dose the rear oil pipes off the gsxr750 fit the gsxr1100 (1127) and or b12 ? Just I have 2 or 3 spare ones in the box of bits in the shed, if they don't fit I will have to get some for a b12 motor and get rid of the 750 ones

    Starter gear

That's good, nice one. Just I've got 3 in a box of gsxr/gsx/bandit bits and did not know which they where off
  12. Seen a lot worse on GS1000 heads you will be changing the valve seals any why no you have the valves out If it was not smoking at start up they where most probably OK.

    Starter gear

Hi all, Are the starter gears (the gears between the starter motor and the starter drive on the end of the crank ) the same between the bandits 6/12 and the gsxr750/1100? Cheers w.

    GSXR cams??

Are you meaning the power screen 1100f ? Most say the gsxr750j/k cams. I must say I have the standard cams in the power screen motor in the kat and love the all round power they give
  17. Matt is the new gloss you know All the big bike and car lot or doing matt. Once if you had a matt bike it was a rat
  18. Don't think you will find many on here will be riding a standard one they would be more a dona bike for a project They're a good mid wait bike for what they where built for
  19. I think the mk2 b12 went electronic speedo.
  20. Item number 152714310031
  21. Has anybody try one of the new side covers from china for bandits/gsxr? Are they any good?
  22. Re gsxr motor, I don't know I've just see people doing it quite a lot with both the gsx600f and gsx750f There is a USA site that is all gsxf bikes and seen this swop on that a lot.
  23. Welcome to OSS If you get the motor out of the frame and take the sump off you can see some of the gear box, you can as @Captain Chaossays you can split the crank case in half with out taking the top end off but you need to remove the clutch, oil filter, side covers, ATU and I think alternator and starter motor. If I remember you need to remove the clutch because these a plate behind the clutch witch you need to remove (or is that on the GS motors ) You can put a gsxr 1100 motor in the teapot
