  1. Blue/White. Best colours!
  2. There's many arms that can be made to fit, some with a bit of 'gentle persuasion!' However, if you want to stay with the classic Suzuki look, why not use the later G/H model arm? It was made 25mm longer than the F models, to keep the front end down, and generally improve things. I think the 1100 Slabbie arms might be an option also?
  3. Then the fun'll start! Keep the 'photo's coming!
  4. You might find the Bandit stem is wrong for the ES frame. If so, swap B12 stem for ES one.
  5. Only paid £400 for an '89 model a few years ago. Kept the motor, 'that site' got the rest

Try posting an ad in Classic Bike/Mechanics, or Old Bike Mart in the 'Where Are You Now?' section.
  7. You could always kid yourself that a 'big bore' is really just a re-bore ... couldn't you?
  8. I sure this has been asked previously, but ... has anyone got a good wiring diagram they could post up (colour would be nice) for '84/'85 1100 EF?
  9. At this rate, you'll be riding it next weekend!
  10. Why even think of modifying the ES engine, when there's an EF available? Buy the EF!
  11. Doh! Cart before horse! I'm thinking 'bigger bore...bigger liners', not overbore! My mistook!
  12. Bloody Hell, that was quick! You don't hang about! Home made blasting cabinet in progress too?
  13. If you've just got a std base gasket, I'd try trimming it.
  14. All of the above ... very good advice! Pay particular attention to the exhaust flange bolts at the head. Prone to snapping, so tread carefully!
  15. I had exactly the same problem and @Gixer1460 suggested the same thing. That's what it was ... miss-placed 'Mickey Mouse' ear. Sorted!
  16. Yes, it'll go straight in. Common upgrade. You'll get a lot of satisfaction rescuing that from the scrap man when it's finished! Good luck with the build, and welcome to OSS!
  17. Looks like it's ready to do what it's meant to be doing! I like it too!
  18. Hello, and welcome to OSS! You'll need 50 posts to get access to 'sales & wants' so, get posting. You've got off to a decent start as, 'we like pictures'!
  19. @slabbyfaceddeanGo on, fill ya boots!
  20. If those wheels are OE, you may find the bike is '78 EC. And welcome to OSS.
