  1. Something like that is on my " option list" ...Only hidden under the plastic of a cavalcade.. Scary fast grand dad scoot
  2. Hi and Welcome , Please take a look in the project section; you will find the .info you need there.
  3. In my mind, if there is a leak between engine and carburettors, the suction to draw fuel up would be lowered.. So yes
  4. Yep... There is a o-ring fitted in a molded recess on the head side of the carburettors boots or rubbers. These go flat over time and are easily forgotten during maintenance or troubleshooting. If they are suspected of leaking, a method of testing is spraying carburettors cleaner one boot at a time with a running engine. If the engine revolutions change while being sprayed...You found a leak. Can still be the boot has a crack, a loose connection or a damaged o-ring. Using some rtv sealant or silicone is road side repair just to get you home. Replace and forget would be my preference. Especially now that you've mentioned nr 4 has always been colder.
  5. I can help with a mocking tone too.... When Not needed preferably
  6. No problem, especially when you get a matching loom and engine

Out there...Loads. All to be found on the known action sites. On here...None in the classifieds. Classifieds? Yep. You can't see them... Yet. All revealed in the rules.
  9. And check the feed cable from the starter solenoid to the starter motor. It sounds like there is a huge resistance which leads to heat. While you are at it...also check the ground cable from the engine to the battery.
  10. How did the Karcher high pressure washer perform to lay the paint on? Nice progress
  11. Being unemployed sucks...most of us can relate to that. OSS is our happy get away plave hence we don't like to discuss unemployment, illnesses or politics on here....It distracts from our much needed distraction. That said..... Can't You offer yourself up as a shop apprentrice at a friendly motor cycle repair shop? Learn some skills while you are at it. Or: Community centers often offer free repair services to help each other in trade for your knowledge / skills Hth
  12. Slide in from above, open up the lower sides a bit to clear the bushes?
  13. re - belt: You are obviously using a "880 - 8m" probably even a HL version "Hoch Leistungs" or high performance for most of us. You now have 110 teeth.. if you want 3 teeth less: you will end up with the 856 - 8M HL from the Optibelt omega series. This one has 107 teeth (and working length 856)
  14. I think it easier to download a workshop manual ( Haynes or suzuki) That way you have the electrical scheme, the cable routing and the component overview at hand. Saves you a lot of typing, searching or guessing.
  15. Wraith makes perfectly sense to me...guess that's because I'm in the family for a few years

    Engine ID

Hi amd welcome to OSS. A proper Introduction in the general section is much appreciated Hugs and kisses.
  17. Fit a big engine in it....After making a custom frame for it.... obviously
  18. A ticking / clicking noise from the starter solenoid is generally a bad battery or battery connection.
  19. Pic of smart wife not loading
  20. Round and black and not to wide for the rim.. BTW... This goes for all the colours. Failing that.... It's in the factory manual and on the tire warning / pressure sticker. Topic now closed. ( See rule 8 )
  21. Best is to search the parts sites eg fowlers or CMSNL and cross reference the partnumber. This feels like an odd ball. Think there are about 5 inazuma's on here.
