    Charging mod

Wich of the charging mods is the better? One looks fairly easy. And I've purchased a good wiring harness and prefer not to duck it up
  3. How does it drive with the 41's?
  4. That is a good beginning m8

    750w swingarm

Interested in this too. How is progress?
  6. The problem of having a luxury problem
  7. true. i got an decent transmission off of eblag, and is just trying to see how i can make it better. i also have a quisck shifter that goes on in the winter and a mappable ignition with pencil sticks. hope for almost "modern" shifting
  8. they know m8. because they back cut all their own bikes. i have just seen 4, 6 and 8 degrees. just wondered how much is best on these transmissions and looked for experiences before milling my new used gears. 8 degrees just sounds like alot to me
  9. straight cut isnt really that good.
  10. anyone knows what angle to machine?
  11. Yes and 15 liters. Hoped for an 23 liter tank. Maybe it's possible to weld the airbox area for more volume
  12. is there any other tanks that will work on an slabside? like an 1100w, slingey or any other tank. mine is at the end of its life and is leaking like exxon veldez
  13. I was thinking of the 1100 head on an 1250 motor in an rf900 frame
  14. I'll see if I can find it. Took a picture when it rolled
  15. Read here that it was an all new motor. Nothing from old engines. Can be media pop. https://motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/suzu/suzuki_bandit_1250s 07.htm
  16. 1250cc on an 31mm valve gsxr 1100 would probably be quite beefy
  17. I know. Pistons and rods are up for it. Just don't know about the crank. Maybe I'll just stay on the 58mm for safety.
  18. i bought an unfinished project, and its almost finished. little electrical problems left and charging relay problems. but fully build engine with busa rods and 78mm pistons from an modern endurance racer. fully ported chims head that i thought was on standard cams but found out it had mild race cams. it rolled 111.5kw at the wheel on the lowest pull. that was with 36mm carbs. so hoping for alot more with 40´s or 42´s and mappable ignition. i redlined at 11950rpm according to the dyno. only showed 12300 on the tacho actually. i saw an 750 1989 article where the tacho showed 1000rpm too little. so its probably how well the tacho was made. lucky or not kind of thing
