i just measured my slabside fork to be 725mm extended and aprox 685 withe sag. that should be on a bit shorter than the "new" forks 720 extended and ?with sag. i actually think it will be 10-15mm taller with sag than the slabside forks
How did you know im fat?! Are you stalking me?!
My rear is raised for faster flicking, so im planing on raising the front end the 20 mm thats possoble. The springs that in are 0.9 kg and maybe ill install 1.1kg springs. but ill have to drive it to see whats/if its actually nessasary
the cam grinder said they where good to 14000, and the 750 ive had ran 13.500 so i figured that it would be the safe limit. i have busa rods and modern light weight spitons in, so it should be ok
it was more if there was any difference in the oiling or or pressures to keep it reliable. my limit is now at 11.950 rpm and i plan to raise it to 13.500 if its safe to do so
hey guys
how did suzuki make the 750 reliable with the 13.5 rev limit? the 2 ive had never skipped a beat? i now have an 1100 with shims head that im going to install nice cams in over the winter.
thanks
the 78mm with 58mm crank gave 1108.6 cc. ill stick with my 58mm untill i find a really beefy long throw crank that i can make work. im still drooling about 68mm throw if i can get barrels that will work up there. only real problem is casing mods and it is engine out for adjusting valves. but 1.4l to 1.55l engine is very tempting :)
just cooked the battery tonight and its now spending the night at a strangers garage im looking for a good upside down fork. and i would like to use the slingshot tees and stem if possible. ive heard that they should fit
