    HPF1

Funky idea for the cooler brackets.
  3. Thanks for that. But it's not a lazy 1216 that likes smaller carbs foe low to midrange lazyness. It a 750 that likes a bit of high end spank me spank me fun.
  4. Need a little advice for my 750 m rebuild. I'm look to at putting a set or RS flat slides on it but not sure of the best size to go for. Motor is stock at the moment What would suit it. 36, 38, or 40. Cheers .
  5. That seat unit looks factory fitment... Impressed..
  6. If your swapping the whole front end it should be easy, Same steering stem etc. so just bolt the forks and yokes in. The fun is then wheels and disks....
  7. I still have the hangover from it..
  8. Wow that is ammmazzzzingly clean (yes I know its practically nut and bolt rebuild) And I thought my RGV looked good, this is mint !
  9. You might want to take a peek at this. http://www.spartgsxrspecials.com/ALBUMS/UK Lee Gsxr Yoshi 1340/index.html# Ignore what I just said, Wrong damper... DOH !
  10. I normally don't approve of seat units getting shortened too much. But that is bob on....
  11. For a little extra cooling most use a 19 row cooler. As far as fittings go there is some debate. Some say AN10, others say AN8. Personally I'm running AN8. And it makes no difference if your hoses connect at the bottom or the top of the cooler.
  12. I'm only up the road so no excuse not to. Ill see if I can get anything else in a more presentable state. Failing that, "Stinky" is always available..
  13. I have one in my gsx1100 EF project. It was running an exup swingarm when I got it so pivot had been machined to take the larger spindle od. Just needed a couple of spacers machining.

    Gia 1216

Filth utter filt. Amazing to see a frame in the actual fabrication process.
  15. Odd, as the MK-II carbs I had were totally different spacing. (and if you check bandit forums etc they also comment on different spacing) Same port spacing, but carbs are spaced differently and use totally different Carn rubbers,
  16. As said above 77 - 93 - 77 Should be the same for all the oil cooled (except Bandit Mk-II different inlet rubbers) and air cooled motors.
  17. Nice work, looking good so far. Oh and welcome to OSS.
  18. Looks like you are coming right past my place. I'm about 20 to 25 miles (30 to 40 Km in new money) East of Chester...…

    Slotting sprockets

From memory I did a slot on mine about 12mm long. Not sure what that is in degrees. Prob about plus and minus 6 Deg or so.
  20. Think Ill be at the POD all weekend. If things change Ill may gate crash...
  21. Turns out it was a mag 1 frame he modelled up, and I don't think he is keen on passing on the CAD file...
