Does the gt 85 preserve it for a while.

I recently did a swing arm it came out awful anodized, re stripped it I was that disappointed. This stopped me doing frame. I'm fully aware cast,weld different types aluminium will all come out different shades in same vat but really shocked how bad it actually looked. Anodizing only good on piece that is made out of same plate or blank. I'm fan of anodizing too. As ian said that's huge amount of money and could look rubbish. Save your money polish or paint.

Nelson dont worry about slide speed the weight is negligible. I got more power by setting up carbs with original stuff well set up. Shame you could not get glue out so you did not have to chamfer washers at least all done. HWB you have message.

If it not functional bling stick on the trailer bike.

The oil pressure through barrel studs holes is sufficient to feed cams. The issue can be with big blocks leaking, so this oil feed gets blocked off and oil is taken out of the main gallery restricted with a jet so not to loose the delicate oil pressure balance and connected into end of rocker shafts. The picture above instead takes oil cooled feed and tries to put said oil into the last bit of pressure side feeding the cams. With difference of 80 psi to 5 psi doh. Doesn't work does it..

No Pete the circuit back of engine to the cam cover. Oil cooler circuit is pressurised.

Interestingly I recently witnessed a gsxr on the dyno where the owner got little enthusiastic and has two oil pressure gauges, one linked to oil pressure side and one linked to oil cooled side. The said oil cooled side does not read any pressure at all until real high revs and then about 5 psi. This really proves the point of what been saying all along and at last I have the proof not by hear say. Dont link the circuits.

The problem is they all wear different, the one on the left was a spinner so that will totally mess up the setting of that carb. The ally ones you be able to put in and forget. Set the needle length distance out of bottom of slide to your least worn example then take it from there on the Dyno.

So cheapest I can see new plastics is 5 euro each plus postage. Now you got two pieces of plastic that wear out. Makes no sense what so ever, when you can have all in one design that dont wear out cheaper.

I really would scrap the dynajet stuff you will be replacing it again next year.

At end of day you have actually done the mod and proved it can be done that's the main thing. Good information to lock away in the back head. As long as it stays there lol.

I know you've done it, I'm gob smacked by 10 mm clearance really don't know how you achieved that. You must have a zebede straight edge.

The comment about offset sprocket. This will only work if chain will not hit frame which I feel it will. So wheel have to be spaced to the right so it won't actually be in alignment. Be ok for pub and back but not too good for serious riding. Think Viz post sums it up. All stuff to check out.
