  1. Moved until you make your mind up........rather moved, make your mind up then start a build thread in the projects section new exhaust, b6/sv650 running gear....ride it.
  2. You’ve posted it in the project section, this is the place for projects, where you document and share the journey of your project and other site users can offer help and info to solve any problems you may encounter or indeed be inspired by your work and have their own questions answered....... ......shall I restore it or sell it type of questions are for generic social media platforms... so what are your plans for it? Or shall I move it to the aircooled section?
  3. Do whatever you want to do with it.
  4. And if that’s a full stainless arrow exhaust system that alone is probably worth more than the blandshit.
  5. I moved it.....it’s watercooled init? given a choice I’d take just about any gsxr over a blandshit, as for what they are like to live with.....it’s a motorcycle, not an alcoholic. i think that smokin’ joes sticker kit is probably aftermarket.....orange screen is win.
  6. Just shout if you want to see what it looks like with peas or a red stripe @davecara
  7. I can also do chips, peas...I’m really good at peas, beans, some fruit, not cakes, some other things I’ve forgot, I’m still practicing eggs.
  8. @jonny1bump10mm might be a slight exaggeration.... straight edge along face of front sprocket and rear sprocket past the the back of the rear tyre, with the rear wheel central and equal distance between the straight edge at the front and at the rear of the tyre gives me about 2/3mm between chain and tyre and about 7/8mm between chain and inner frame. not running a 530 chain. If it was anyone else I’d say gofunkyourself, but I know you know what your doing, even if you don’t know I know, if you know what I mean.
  9. Because glimmer belts look the titties and v belts look like they only should be powering alternators and pto farm equipment even if they were good enough for the Paxton on my 67 fastback. mr dunloopie at FBM just had a set of toothed pulleys made, give him a call.
  10. I also think he wants it.
  11. There’s another 10mm before the dudettes chain hits the frame maybe the OP is going for a styling exercise, I don’t think he needs to give you two a reason......I’ve seen wider set ups in the back of slabby, and I’ve seen them being used and abused. as for handling, I’m sure the 120/180 set up would be better than a 120/200
  12. The rear 6 inch wheel is bang on in the centre of the bike, chain clears frame and 190 tyre.
  13. The chain clears the frame and both front and rear wheels are in the centre of the bike on the dudettes slabby ( I wouldn’t have done it if I couldn’t have the rear wheel central ) it was a faff on due to the way the oz rear wheel is constructed to carry the sprocket and the old skool relatively skinny metmachex arm. I did have to make up my own offset front sprocket and run a thinner chain. .....all because I couldn’t find an ozracing forged wheel to match in a 5.5
  14. I’d say them spars take the load, the motor is hanging in/off it and not a stressed member..... .....depending on what grade them beams are and how good the fixing twixt the beams and swingarm pivot.
  15. Is it Monday?.......oh shit.....
