  1. Jet sizes all depend on what carbs and jets you use. Keihin, Mukuni and Dynojet use different numbers/scale to size their jets. Handy having a comparison chart.
  2. Think @fatblokeonbandit reuses his old gaskets. After they're cleaned up, he gives it a coat or two of primer. Don't think he's had any bother with his oil cooled gaskets. Don't know if he's done water cooled gaskets though
  3. I try to aim for the biggest clearance available when do the valves. The valve springs might be a little tired. No harm checking them to make sure they're the right length as stated in the manual. You poured oil down the bores. There's a drain hole in front of the sparkplug mating surface. Just some oil just dripped it's way out the exit holes. And yes, there is a light pulse of oil at the rotor as the crank spins so nothing to worry about there.
  4. Any one put a sensor here? Seems like a very desecrate place to put one. Knowing my luck I'd somehow kerb the sensor off the sump.

    Bandit wheel

Bandit 12. The 6's are limited by their smaller wheel bearing size.
  6. The guy says it's a 91 gsxr 1100 motor. If it's out of the frame then you can take off the rocker cover and check if it's got shim head which the 91 would. Or simpler again, get in touch with the guy and find out what the engine number prefix and put it up here. The latter option could save you the trip.
  7. 1137cc. Don't forget it's 1mm shorter stroke.
  8. @Danm54 had billet suspension knuckles for sale on the temp site. He'd be the dude to have a word with. http://old-skool-suzuki.proboards.com/thread/5214/slingy-billet-suspension-knuckles

    OOOOOOOOps

Which, the noise or the engine? Joking aside, bummer!
  10. I have a home made abba'ish stand. Why not get some mild steel 5mm thick 50mm wide plate from the hardware store, cut and drill it out to match the foot hanger mounts on the frame. Drill the lift holes to match the adapters size that you already have. Here's a bandit hanging on a set (for the last 2 months with engine in frame and USD front end on, with no wheels.) So I'd say the bike is stable enough.
  11. Some well crafted engineering there. Gets my vote. Well done Jimbo.
  12. Bandit 12 fork centers are 200mm, 1127K are 205mm. Might have to play around with spacers and maybe use a K axle. Handy enough to sort out, but not a straight forward drop in and play.
  13. Try downsizing the image. Probably too big a file.
  14. I thought 1052 were longer, 117.4mm and 1127 are 117mm. ?

    30 years GSXR

Great vid. Cool to see the Suzuki brains who made it all happen.
  16. Don't know the fella @Duckndive. Just relaying tech I remember from a similar subject thread from the old site.
  17. I think Musphadump on the old site said he had to skim 1.2mm off the deck height to get the correct squish and compression. (1127 with busa slugs running n/a) I.R.C.C. That was with an 1127 head.
  18. Think you're right Rene EFE on the tail unit being 750. The front fairings are 1100 though (round ram air holes), probably resprayed to match the 750 paint.
  19. Saw this n that site we don't mention. The question I'm asking is, are the colours on this one for the Jap market? It appears to be an M scheme and looks factory spec on the L. Never saw an L in those colours. Is it factory mix of M and repainted L?
