  1. I always liked the frame on the 400's. Just a pity Suzuki didn't make a bandit 1200 with this version of frame, tank and bodywork.

    bandit cams

M and N cams are a shim head so not for a lock nut head. I've used 1127 K cams on a few bandits. But That's only because I had a few sets lying around. You be able to use any of the 1052 cams and K and L. Never used any 750 ones so can't comment on weather suitable or not.
  3. Yeah, Nissin 4 pots are M8 x 1.25.
  4. Very tidy. The Bellini TNT swingarm looks like it was made for the Harris frame. Nice work.
  5. Misty eyed? It's probably just the hay fever. But imagine the emotional flood gates opening when said misty eyed codger spies a pristine GS, GSX, slabby of slingy?

Good to hear its still in one piece. When you sell a modified bike, it's 50-50 weather it ends up getting broken over the years.

It ended up in Scotland, didn't it? Saw it a few years ago on that auction site. Don't think he sold it in the end.
  8. Come to think of it, it was the bandit 6 frame that has weedy mounts, when adding an11 or 12 motor. Still a better job sleeving the engine bolt though.
  9. The 12 motor has an M12 bolt, the 750 has an M10 mount. You can drill out the mount to M12. Or you can sleeve the 750's M10 bolt with some 12mm o.d. pipe to get a snug fit on the engine. The latter option means you wont end up with a weakened set of mounts.
  10. If you are swapping around sumps, remember to use that sumps oil pick ups too.
  11. Bandits are great. Come in handy for parts when rebuilding a slingshot.
  12. He broke the wheel long ago, it's now just a barrow.
  13. Looks nuttier than squirrel shit. Great to see the use of older technology. I built a chop for a fella over the Winter that had a girder front end. Amazed at how well girders actually work.
  14. Did you check for any oxidisation or looseness on the solenoid contacts? Might be struggling to get enough power supply.

I remember it from the old site. It's either a 1340 or a 1371 M motor, wasn't it? Love the stance.
