Facet pump reiability

 Hi.

I was wondering what the reiability of the facet pump is like when used as scavenge from low mounted turbo? I know they are a popular solution but if working directly off the turbo is there a limit to how long they last? Pic is one on my motor but hasn't seen any real use yet.

Cheers

Same here, Facet pump works great and has served me well on lots of trips. Bought two at the time, never needed the spare so far. Fitted directly under the turbo without tank.

Same here. Mines been on for 4 years now. Even has been melted where it came loose and moved over onto tge exhaust

Hi,

Could someone tell me what facet model is that pump?

Used to use electric gear pump, but size and power consumption isnt really useful.

No wondering between new headers or this facet pump, if it really is so reliable as peoples here tells.

And forgive me my bad english. :)

How noisy is this pump? Ive had a facet pump on my old pick up truck and it was very loud

Facet fuel pumps can be noisy but you wont hear the scavenger pump over the engine/exhaust noise

I want a mechanical scavenge pump but I am having trouble finding one that requires very little modification. I can build one but Im being lazy and looking for an easy solution.

I might go this route because of cost and availability.
