I've had one on me Bandit for 3 years now with no leaks so all good, in fact the one I bought 3 years ago from china was £50 this ones cheaper

, cooler £38.50 ally angle £11 and a box of bits ive accumulated over the years..

Your new welds all look to be bronze FB, are they braized or tig braze weld. Looks good.

But hteres adifferance between, small light flick able and so small it get stuck between the cheeks of my arse

 

it feels like and old RG250 size wise, and im definitely not RG sized

The original one work just fine, ones a bit bent but will bend back

Im and idiot, i fitted the 36mm mikkeys to try then and they a=went straight in, I forgot i hadn't fitted the alternator!!!!!!!!!!!!!  cant get the carbs in or out whist the alternators in there.

Bugger,,,,,,,looks like i m ight need to find a set of flatties and see if it makes things easier.?????

Not a bad idea, Gary try power screen or 11 slabbie son , As way cheaper than 750,vm -29,s although you can bore 29,s to 33 mm and they work ace on 750 motor as I'm dam sure you know already.

So I fitted the tin top 34mm mikkeys that came with the engine, they went in no bother, put some unleaded in and it fired up 

 

had a quick look and cant for the life of me find the vacc take offs for balancing the carbies??? am I being thick or are they hidden somewhere????

ive found that one, for the fuel tap, but i meant the ones for balancing tthe carbs, or should ghey be in the inlet rubberx???

Had them on gsx 11 , inlet rubbers and that's the only vacuume,spelling , so inlet rubbers

Engines in properly, pipes on, now to rear chain run???

 

Its beginning to look like a motor bike

Had a look and then another,  found out the rear wheel is offset 10mm to starboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

cant understand that as im using the same spacers and caliper hanger that were on the 4.5 inch wheel. all ive done is swop for a 5.5 incher???

 

So stuck the original red 4.5 inch rear back in, and yup, thats 10mm out of lie as wel.!!! arse.

 

So some spacer swoping and its in the middle.

chain runs ok asw ell..
