clivegto
Got a cast aluminium 90 degree bend in the post. Plan is to weld this to the turbo & a 45 degree pipe then to the 90 degree one that fits to the plenum. 3 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Dicided to have a candy red cam cover mainly because the first silver one don't fit properly. Must be a b6 or a long stroke 750 one, didn't even know I had one. So I got Sam to make me another one this time checking properly that it was a b12 cover. clivegto
Dicided to make some adaptor plates to fit An6 pipe for the head cooler seen as I found some an6 to An6 adaptors I forgot I had. Made the adaptors out of some 14mm billet aluminium. Also took the bike to Wills to get the boost pipe welded up as it needs to be tack welded institute to get the correct spacing & lines. 4 Quote Link to comment

370steve
fitting this to mine mate. 4 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Yes I know @370stevevery nice but even that wouldn't fit the Harris frame I suspect & my adaptors cost me 2 hours of my own labour this evaning. 1 Quote Link to comment
dupersunc
I've seen cam covers tapped to 1/4npt and a 1/4npt-an6 adaptor screwed in if you a really tight for space. 2 Quote Link to comment

clivegto
Got the bike back from Will's today after he welded the boost pipe up for me. 4 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Knocked a little spigot pipe up that goes into the bend on the plenum. Wasn't quit happy with the position of the boost pipe as I want it to look good as well as work. Pipe was just a bit off been parallel with the the frame rail when looking down from the riders position. So got the blow torch out heated it up near the spinny end & pulled the other end out to straighten it up & parelel with the frame. 2 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Stage 3 of the plenum, just neededs welding up now. 2 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Got the boost pipe back from having the dump valve take off welded on. Also got the plenum back from stage 3 of welding, am quite pleased how it's turned out considering how little room there is for the pipe work. 5 Quote Link to comment

clivegto
Had a kinugawa actuator with 12psi spring in my stash of stuff so set about whittling a bracket out of 3mm steel to attach it to the turbo. 3 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Got a newer gsx600f oil cooler that is in a lot better condition than the one I had. Turns out the newer ones are completely different to the older ones so I altered the bracket I made earlier to mount it to. 3 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Had to lift the cooler up a bit so slotted the top mounting holes, cut 20mm of the top of the triangle bit at the top. Shaped the outside bottom part of the bracket to clear number 1 & number 4 exhaust headers & used 2 stainless steel P clips to faster the bottom of the cooler bracket to the frame. 2 Quote Link to comment
