colinworth79 Posted July 11, 2016 Author Posted July 11, 2016 yes the O/D of the liner is 89mm or 3.5 inch Quote
kja.busa Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Roger Upperton is the best choice, just relinered and bored a block for me, absolutely spot on too Quote
colinworth79 Posted July 11, 2016 Author Posted July 11, 2016 (edited) contacted Mr upperton today relining the block is ok but he cant get any low comp pistons in 85 mm , I cant believe I'm the first person to turbo a big block gsxr motor ? Edited July 11, 2016 by colinworth79 Quote

Gixer1460 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 They came from Cosworth and I think final CR was between 9.5 and 9:1. I don't think they were widely available, wink wink, say no more, know wot I mean! Quote
Swirl Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 how have you got on with that CR or have you used a thicker base gasket to lower it further Quote
Gixer1460 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 That's what it was designed for so never changed. Nice off throttle and still gives 180+hp NA. Quote
