MeanBean49 Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Been using this on road a fair bit recently. Hilarious. 278bhp and 200lbs ft . Just fashioned the meshed bellmouth thing to give me plenty of ground clearence for taking it round Cadwell. Gona be a fun summer. :-) 14 Quote
Gixer1460 Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 That is BAD! But i'd have to add a fairing just to hide the coolers LOL! Quote
MeanBean49 Posted April 22, 2016 Author Posted April 22, 2016 Then that defeats the point. Lol 1 Quote
Rene EFE Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Oilcooler under the seat? How does it do for temperature? Quote

vizman Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 bad....bad-ass.....I know mean beans crashed it before....he no care!...looks mean as feck Quote
MeanBean49 Posted April 23, 2016 Author Posted April 23, 2016 It defeats the point as its kept to a bare minimum, nothing on it that isnt essential, all extra weight and bulk to add a fairing. Coolers are plenty safe enough, out of the way of anything flicked up by the wheel and in the best position for maximum cooling. Yes Viz its been lowsided and barrel rolled, Loopy had tons of fun fixing the tank. Also highsided it too. :-) Quote

Rene EFE Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Ah, right, forgot about those I had a bit of a late night last night Quote

fish91 Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 What boost are you running, is there much in the way of lag. And the turbo looks the same height if not lower than the sump? Are you pumping the oil back up? Quote
MeanBean49 Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 Boost is electronically variable on a dial. No lag, boosts well and clean from about 3000rpm facet pump for oil scavenge 11 hours ago, fish91 said: What boost are you running, is there much in the way of lag. dupersunc Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) Presumably you have to run a silencer for Cadwell? Collecting parts for a Turbo Slabbie track slag currently, so interested to know what sort of silencing a turbo bike needs Edited June 17, 2016 by dupersunc Quote
MeanBean49 Posted June 18, 2016 Author Posted June 18, 2016 I have a full system that takes 10 mins to swap over. Big thick pipe and shortish race can, makes it as quiet as a standard bandit Last year i put it on for noise testing then went back to slash cut on track. There loudest at low revs under no load, on the move the turbo spinning takes a lot of the noise away. Always best to have the option of swapping round. 2 Quote
