Head stock bearings arrived today. To fit the eccentric head stock stem I made a couple of spacers up as it's too long. I'll get a shorter one made up later also the top head stock has slight damage where it holds the bearing which needs a repair. Fitted the forks for mockup. IMG_20241115_181442.thumb.jpg.4d3399328fdba0eb11bab51efbbf6cc0.jpg IMG_20241115_180504.thumb.jpg.231fbd547583a1169e5241b3b28b124c.jpg IMG_20241115_181303.thumb.jpg.a0c1e35b20134f01e952685e86e0903d.jpg IMG_20241115_181514.thumb.jpg.b89af1837c331ea828137252c11be915.jpg

This is what I'm going to work from for the angel of the dangle. Forks do look steep maybe just need to be longer. IMG_20241116_164811.thumb.jpg.1c5bc904fa30ed9b6fa78975afe5a1ab.jpg

It won’t be a slouch with that nice steep angle :)

Does the bike in the picture above have adjustable yokes/headstock? I'm puzzled as to why the forks aren't parallel to the headstock?O.o

No idea @Spikewill know?

Fzr1000 tank?

Late to the party but i finally measured one of my 90 1k tanks, it would fall through the frame spars.

Dropped the frame off @clairetoojust before Christmas to fix the top steering head bearing housing. Picked the frame back up at Newark Classic winter bike show at the weekend, she's machined the bearing housing out of the frame made a new one heat shrunk it into the frame and welded it up. Also removed the silly front tank mount that was pop riveted on and filled the holes with weld as well as welding a crack on the bottom knuckle mount where it had been over tightened and she's shortened the stem as well, she's a clever girl  and I'm a lot happier now :DIMG_20241123_134836.thumb.jpg.5a5e1605f1b93e77dc6cdbba6958b2b7.jpg FB_IMG_1733868046329.thumb.jpg.f232ec9cdf7922a778611aa3b46477c0.jpg IMG_20250107_204936.thumb.jpg.ebf106409dea029535c0936dd86d1a29.jpg IMG_20250113_164039.thumb.jpg.cf8f9c2b7405e7f5fc217073425d83c7.jpg IMG_20250113_165158.thumb.jpg.13d7fdc525ad9493c0c63f4eab475d3c.jpg

From that angle, it looks a bit like a Bimota YB4 series frame :)

Havoc and I came to to conclusion it looked a lot like his Bakker frame while we were stood pondering at the show. IMG_20250113_203738.thumb.jpg.a476f579d32e426815f4f25a29addd2c.jpg
