That me33 dates its last ride !
  5. Things like that need to happen to keep you sharp. Thats what i tell myself at least.
  6. Have you inspected electrical connections for corrosion?
  7. Am i the only one whose eyes get big at the first picture as a result of the clownshoe? Proper color too.
  8. 100% I would look at a different way of sealing it. Possibly coating a stud with sealant and threading it in, after thoroughly cleaning the affected area. As they say, it needs to be clean enough to eat off of. If i was to get that welded by the AL welders i know, it would be tear down time and haul the case half off to be cleaned at a shop.
  9. Some more structural work and that will be fine. Im not a fan of the oversized holes, those inserts are going to move around when welded. Another issue, what are the odds they are not in the same location side to side.

  12. Support communism !!!!! OK thats the last of my thoughts here.
  13. Material is more concerning to me than quality control.
  14. I’ve never seen designed in China, only made in China . I’ve been in manufacturing for 35+ years. I’ll never knowingly buy anything from China unless I have no choice. esp rods. You think they can prove they are actually 4340??!! Lol
  15. Made in china. Thats all i need to know.
  16. Ive learned a few lessons since I got my rgv, it may sound crazy but I’d prefer to buy all my bike parts and related bits from the uk. I’ll message Allen’s, thanks for the insight.
  17. The irnoy. I went to allens last night to see how much kits for a 86 1100 would be. No listing. That was the second stab in the back, the us company that made stainless emulsion tubes went out of business 2 months ago. Im taking it as a warning and buying spares for everything i have next payday. Thankfully i saved every link ive found over the last 4 years. This place may be of luck to someone.
