Powerscreen cams in bandit engine

Do the 1127 powerscreen cams make any difference in the 1200 bandit engine? Probably been ask many times but tried looking and cant find much

I'm putting together a b12 with gsxr head and gsxf cams, whenever my o rings arrive  will let you know

Never said it was. Couldn't be that much without better cams either

They have more lift than the MK1 bandit cams & even more than the MK2 cams.

The info is out there, can't remember where though.  The Powerscreen cams will move the power up the rev range, to the detriment of the grunty midrange they are known for.  Adding just the intake cam will boost the top end and keep the midrange mostly intact.  I have a PS motor that I want to disassemble this winter to remove the head, barrels, and pistons to one day move to my B12 commuter.  One day...

The basic answer, is yes they will make a difference.

You will gain more mid to top end power (bhp) but you will lose some bottom end toque.

The nice thing with gsx1100f cams compared to the gsxr cams, is you still get a good mid range power, where the gsxr cams are more all top end.

THIS IS A VERY BASIC ANSWER in ball park areas. You can put a mix of different cams in from bandit to gsxf to gsxr depending on what you want/can get these days but that's a totally different question all together and a lot more involved

The 34 tintop carbs along with the F cams should ensure some lower rpm torque to a Bandit lump ?

That is very true 

It's like all tuning, in most ways you gain at one point but you lose in another, it's all about what you're turning for. Bottom end toque. Mid range a mix of both toque and bhp or top end bhp. 

Don't even start on best exhaust 4-2 or 4-2-1 or 4-1

Yes, I'd say they are the best all round set of cams  but don't tell everyone or we'd never find a set for sale

Thank you all for the replies, currently have my B12 engine out and my 1127 powerscreen cams ready so looks like i know what im doing next
